Jesse Firestone

Jesse is a curator organizing exhibitions and programs around a range of topics including queer history and ecology. He received an MA from SVA's Curatorial Practice program. Jesse is currently Curatorial Assistant at Wave Hill, a 28-acre garden estate in The Bronx, and is involved in all aspects of producing outdoor concerts, an annual artist residency, and exhibitions.
Prior to joining Wave Hill, Jesse was the Open Call Assistant at The Shed and supported the development of 52 commissions by emerging artists across all disciplines. Jesse has also organized exhibitions and programs at, or in collaboration with, NARS Foundation, BRIC, Trestle Gallery, Pulitzer Art Foundation and Harvard University.
